How long will it take until my staff can talk to cus­tomers on the phone?

As you know it takes a while to change or neu­tralise an accent, but with dai­ly prac­tise your staff can see notice­able results in 4-6 weeks. Often our cus­tomers already begin to see a dif­fer­ence after only 2 weeks prac­tise.

Of course the more time spent prac­tis­ing the quick­er the results.

We rec­om­mend your staff mem­ber prac­tise with the course for a min­i­mum of 15-20 min­utes a day.

For quick­er staff onboard­ing and results, we rec­om­mend your VA prac­tise for at least half an hour to an hour per day.

Our expe­ri­ence has shown us to get bet­ter results for your invest­ment, and to ensure your staff are doing the train­ing, it’s impor­tant their prac­tise time is includ­ed as part of their work day with you.

Your staff needs to lis­ten to to the course through head­phones and not just out of a speak­er, and ide­al­ly in a qui­et space /time in the office. Using head­phones cre­ates stronger new neu­ro­log­i­cal path­ways in the brain for their new, clear­er speech.

What’s the Ben­e­fit of hav­ing your staff train for 6 months instead of 3 months?

Becom­ing clear­er in Eng­lish can be quick, but acquir­ing an Aus­tralian accent takes time. If you want your staff to sound Aus­tralian this takes some time.

When your staff train for longer they can upskill their com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills, and serve your cus­tomers more effec­tive­ly and eas­i­ly. This means they can take on more respon­si­bil­i­ty in their job for you.

Your staff will have deep­er inter­ac­tions with cus­tomers and can there­fore attend to their needs bet­ter.

How does the per­son­alised Pro­nun­ci­a­tion Assess­ment work?

1. We send your VA detailed instruc­tions to record them­selves read­ing and speak­ing
2. Speech expert, Esther, will lis­ten to the record­ing and analyse it.
3. Esther will record a detailed per­son­alised assess­ment, and email the record­ing back to your VA.
4. The assess­ment includes the most impor­tant things to work on first, and in what order to work on them using the course train­ing mate­ri­als; as well as extra instruc­tion on the best way to prac­tise the spe­cif­ic pro­nun­ci­a­tion instruc­tion for that per­son.
5. Esther will email the assess­ment back to the VA in the form of an MP3 record­ing
6. The VA will use the per­son­alised instruc­tion with the Aus­tralian accent course for quick­er more tar­get­ed prac­tise and clear speech results.

How does your staff access the course?

Once you have signed up for the course we will send you an email to request the details of your staff member/s using the course. We will then set up accounts for each of your staff and email them their login details for the course.

Each staff mem­ber will receive their own login so that you can have mul­ti­ple staff using the course (mul­ti­ple staff won’t be able to login to the same account).

Once staff have their login details they can sim­ply login to our online por­tal and access all their course mate­ri­als!

You can select the num­ber of cours­es you want when you pur­chase the course by adjust­ing the quan­ti­ty.
